Swimming camp in the Rabenberg sports park

During the first week of the Easter holidays, from April 6 to 11, the Fechenheim Water Friends held their training camp at the Rabenberg Sports Park. As in the previous year, Dr. Iris Komar was on hand as an expert.

With a total of 18 children and two coaches, we worked intensively on various training areas. In addition to swimming training, which focused on improving technique and endurance, we placed particular emphasis on land training and specific exercises for swimming technique. An important component of the training was video analysis, which allowed the swimmers to directly observe and improve their movement patterns.

The camp was a complete success. Thanks to the close collaboration and varied training methods, all participants were able to significantly improve their skills. The atmosphere was excellent, and both coaches and swimmers were very pleased with the results. The children not only learned a lot about technique and endurance, but also experienced a great deal together as a team.

The combination of intensive training and joint activities made the training camp an all-round successful experience.

The biggest surprise of the entire training camp was that our sponsor surprised us with brand-new tracksuits for the entire team and the coaches. Shortly before departure, we received the new suits from our sponsor.

from the company "Fussboden Wolf" in Bad Vilbel – a great moment for everyone! Each tracksuit was personalized with our swimming logo and the name of each swimmer and coach. That was truly something special.

On behalf of all swimmers, coaches, board and parents we would like to thank our sponsor,

the company Fussboden-Wolf from Bad Vilbel.

Outstanding performances at competitions in Wuppertal and Langen

On the weekend of March 21st to 23rd, our club was competing with two teams – one in Wuppertal at the Bayer Cup

and the other in Langen at the BaHaMa Cup. In Langen, the younger age groups of the talent group competed with the support of great swimmers from the first team. Both teams achieved great success. Of particular note is Ava Elise Grenz's qualification for the 100m breaststroke at the South German Championships, after already achieving her required time in the 50 free and 50 breaststroke disciplines. Another highlight was the performance of Enya Wolf and Nils Kozinski, who both shone with great results. Nils qualified for the Hessian age group championships four times, while Enya qualified five times – an impressive achievement. All of the club's other swimmers also won many medals and achieved great times.

Recent competitions have been clear evidence of our team's tremendous potential. These results are the result of excellent cooperation between coaches, swimmers, and parents. Together, we will continue to strive for our goals and continue to grow as a club.

Visit to the HAPIK Hall, Frankfurt am Main

Instead of our regular swim practice on January 17, 2025, we decided to spend an exciting day at HAPIK-Hale—and it was a great decision! The entire team had the opportunity to let off steam in the climbing hall and master new challenges.

The friendly atmosphere and colorful play areas immediately put us in a good mood. After climbing, we fortified ourselves with drinks and delicious snacks in the café.
